Horse Head & Flame Nebula (NGC 2024)

The Horsehead is a Dark Nebula surrounded by a bright Emission Nebula IC 434. The Flame Nebula, NGC2024 near Alnitak, also known as Zeta Orionis, ionizes the nebula and is responsible for its glow.
