The perfect morning for photography. A warm sunrise in crisp, frozen conditions.

I was taken by this cold, sharp, rectangular rock encrusted with ice crystals. It contrasted so well against the warmer, curved mountains.

A 2 stop hard Grad ND filter was used against the sky and mountains. A further 1 stop soft Grad ND was used diagonally across the frame to expose the bottom left 1/3 of the image correctly - this was darker due to less reflected light hitting it.
