Radnor Lake, Nashville, TN

Radnor Lake Natural Area is a 1332 acre wilderness gem surrounded by Nashville's suburban sprawl. The trail circumventing the lake is about 1.4 miles with other trails branching off. The park is populated by deer and other forest critters. The lake was created by damming Otter Creek back in 1912 and was built by the L&N Railroad for a source of water for their steam engines and maintenance yard. http://tnstateparks.com/parks/about/radnor-lake
