I happened to have some ripe Grainger County tomatoes on hand and was compelled to make a "Mater Sandwich", as they are called around here. It was eaten just as soon as the picture-taking was finished. :)
Grainger County, TN, is to tomatoes as Vidalia, GA, is to onions. The best tomatoes in the world and these were grown by a friend of mine.
