The Qualla Reservation is home to the Eastern Band of the Cherokee people. It lies in Western North Carolina in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. The tribe preserves its heritage through educational programs in the schools and presents its history through the Museum of the Cherokee, Oconoluftee Living Village, and the wonderful outdoor drama, "Unto These Hills."
