Bobcat 12-26-14 Series

Buz Kiefer spotted the bobcat on a log some distance out. We watched him for several minutes and then, he came down, crossed the field and came right towards us. A very exciting encounter!

I've been wondering why he/she came towards us after leaving the log. I think she was hunting when we saw her and she had to get to the woods behind us because she possibly had a young one there. These guys are usually never seen and something had to be going of for her to be so brave. Just a guess.
