The theme of the second project was high contrast photos. I tried shooting against the sun and a softbox and the images left me cold. I wanted my images to involve hard straight lines rather can soft curves and my musing brought me to think of steel and man made objects which I have gone out of my way to avoid in my everyday photography. Once again under the gun, I decided to photograph the auto shop at a local high school during one of the lunch hours. I increased the contrast of the images I took in Photoshop to eliminate most of the mid tones. The images were rendered in both black and white and colour.
