Exploring in Hungary, March 2010

We have been here nearly 2 years, and not done nearly enough exploring outside of Budapest. This weekend -- with trips to Eger, Pannonhalma, Gyor and surroundings -- has proved that every Hungarian town has a central square with a yellow church.

The library itself, where we understood approximately 75% of a long tour in Hungarian. Very pleased with ourselves.

Eger's 19th century neoclassical cathedral is the second largest in the country. Note that it is yellow.
