Here's a shot I took recently in Amsterdam. Not being familiar with sunset times in Europe, I ran over to Rembrandt Square at 8:30pm to catch my first sunset. Quickly setting up my camera gear and tripod, I soon realized that the sun was high overhead. Sitting on a park bench and patiently waiting, this shot was taken around 10:45pm.
