Feb 19 - Lorikeets fighting

Butterfly World, Pompano Beach, FL

Taken at Butterfly World - at one of those "Feed nectar to the Lorikeets"-type sideshows taht will no doubt be closed down once bird flu reaches these shores....

I'm not sure what they were fighing over - just having fun swinging on the end of the rope, probably.

Loris will fight over anything, we've got four of them at the moment as wildlife carers. They're fantastic birds to look after, very entertaining. We're lucky that we get them wild in the back yard as well.
I love your all your galleries. You really have an eye for what works commercially.
