Giverny

Giverny is the French village with the great artist Monet's house and gardens. We were there in the middle of the day, not great light from a photographic perspective, but it was great to see the location of many of Monet's paintings. For anyone interested in visiting, it is a fairly easy day drip from Paris. Take the train to Vernon, followed by a connecting bus (or taxi) to Giverny.
