Processing photos in rural Tanzania is not an easy or cheap process and that is even if you can find someone with a camera. Because of this entire families grow up without ever seeing or having photos of their loved ones to cherish. The father of this boy asked me very politely if I could take a photo of his young son and then email it to him so that at least he and his wife could see him once a month when they visit the internet cafe in the town of Moshi, some thirty kilometres south. I was only too happy to oblige.
