Durango

These images are from a family vacation to Durango, CO in June 2005. Stops along the way included Great Sand Dunes National Park. We stayed at the Fairfield Durango resort in Downtown. While there, we visited Mesa Verde, rode the steam train, and did several hikes in the surrounding areas.

Hi there. I've just come back from a holiday that included a ride on the Durango and Silverton Railway, and so I came to your site in search of a half-decent picture of the locomotive. What I found was some of the most superb photography I've ever seen in my life. Well done for taking such wonderful holiday photographs, and thank you for sharing them with us.

I love your gallery. It brings back good memories.... I have twice done a bicycle tour that started in Durango, up to Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, Mesa Verde, and back to Durango. Such a beautiful place! I definitely plan to go back. You got some especially good shots of Mesa Verde.

Beautiful Gallery. We spent a few days in Durango this past summer on a road trip through Utah and Arizona. We actually stayed at the Strater Hotel that you have pictured. Wonderful collection of shots you have so far...can't wait to see the rest!
