California Central Coast

In 1996, Shelly and I took a trip to the Central Coast. We stayed in Cambria and got engaged on the beach. For the 10 year anniversary, we decided to redo the trip. On the way down from San Jose, we stopped and hiked in the Pinnacles. We visited Hearst Castle, the Elephant Seals at Piedras Blancas, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obisbo. Then we drove back up the coast through Big Sur and Monterrey.

Some beautiful pictures of one of my favorite areas of the country. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there. We returned there this month to see the elephant seals. There was a bit more traffic and people than I remembered from the first time. I guess it's relative compared to L.A. area.
