Hello Rob,
First off let me say your studio is GREAT! I really like the fact of how you took so many pics along the way. It's ALWAYS good to see how something is constructed to match up with what "I" or someone else may be also trying to build. It was good to see your basement from the time you first began framing to the finished studio.
I was on the John L Sayers website and I was looking at a topic. I saw a post you had submitted and decided to check out your link...Glad I did!
What I'd like to know is the following:
What is a "Mini Quick" and is it pretty much the same as a patch bay? How are the cable ends made? Does the front panel use the tt type cables? Where did you get it, and how much was the cost? Looks like you used Roxul for all your insulation (except some ceiling I believe). Is this correct? Did you float your floors? Looks like you used the double wall system...Is that correct? Is the sound transmission between your live room and vocal booth to your control room pretty good? Anything you would do different?
I know these are a lot of questions, but I sure could use the help (I'm sure you know how it was when you were trying to build)
If possible, I may be getting back with you with other questions about construction if that's ok.
Thanx, and GOD Bless
