My MNother was awarded this for her Uncle - Roy Tarrant - who was killed in action. It was stolen in a house robbery in 2014. It does not have an inscription. I have been trying to find it for two years now, and any information would be wonderful. please email me at evielawson@live.com

my dad john sharp who just passed away this may was on one of the fist landing craft on the beaches, he was also in the bef dunkirk evac and then did 3 years in Palestine. he went over and collected this medal and it sits along with his others he won for his bravery, these will never be pawed over in any sale room ever and will stay in my family unlike so many others whos medals are treated so disrespectfully.

Were the badges presented named with birth date or numbered?

I to toured the Longues battery in 2005, i was unaware that the damaged gun emplacement was caused by allied shelling, thankyou so much for the facts.
