This is the expected, T.s.inornata, or Western Willet.
It is in alternate (breeding) plumage. To separate from the nominate,
T.s.semipalmata, Eastern Willet, which do occur together in migration farther
east, look at the bill, including the base, the overall coloration,
and the amount of barring. If multiple birds are involved compare the sizes.
Western Willet is grayer, less barred, thinner-billed, without a
pinkish base to the bill, larger and lighter in overall coloration.
