Juvenile Stilt Sandpiper in fresh plumage. Note the buff wash to the
breast, the uniformly fresh plumage with white edges that gives the bird
a scaly appearance. Slight droop to the tip of a longish bill and long
legs, but shorter legs than in either yellowlegs species, but bill
slightly longer than in Lesser Yellowlegs.
