This image was the simplest of these to create. Using a glass plate negative taken by German immigrants around the 1860s, I layed the negative down onto the paper once, then flipped it over and exposed it again, each with half the normal exposure. Because it is a glass plate negative, the image is actually the same size as the negative, about 4'x6". I was pretty lucky that they aligned so symmetrically.
