Upper Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is in Page, Arizona and is on the Navajo Indian Reservation.

To enter you need to purchase a permit from the Navajo or purchase a guided tour from one of the local tour operations. It is also known as "The Slot Canyon".

The Upper Canyon is a little easier to access and photograph. The Lower Canyon requires climbing ladders and etc.

Getting to the Canyons requires a rough ride in the back of a "Safari" Truck or Jeep.

I think Antelope Canyon was the most rewarding stop for Photography. It was by far the most challenging yet frustrating to photograph! You are in such small quarters with so many photographers and you need to use your tripod. I tried to schedule our trip with the local Navajo owners and get in between all the local tour operations.
