Get pic's. I'm looking into buying my 1st digital camera. I'm using a canon AE-1 now. Can't get good close up pic's with it.(I just have the regular lens.Maybe I could go with a macro lens. I set the camera on manual and use the f/22 and my dof is very very shallow. You got some good dof on the baby grasshopper. Did you go manual in macro mode with your Canon G6? I love the clarity of your pic. What was your settings? Could you have improved the dof with another setting? Thanks, Pete
