On a sunny nice day we visited the Vank Cathedral in Esfahan which is a cathedral built in 1664
for the Armenian refugees fleeing to Iran to escape from the Turkish massacres.
It turned out that what attracted us was a group of local school girls visiting the cathedral as after-school activity,
all wearing a yellow hijab and a lovely smile on their faces.
In fact, the attraction was 'mutual' and we were virtually surrounded by many smiley faces.
The shutters ran on and on and lots of photos were taken between hes and shes and us and them.
Even the teachers were tempted to take photos with us!!
The photo session lasted for over half an hour and was finally closed after four attempted good byes...
