Watching a group of 4 year olds on a soccer field is always great for the spirit. It's the first time most of them have tried to play a game, in a structured way, with other kids their age. For the most part they're unskilled, but sometimes very focused and determined. As their knowledge of the game and their skill level increases, the game will be be smoother and they'll be better disciplined to work together as a team. But watching these young boys and girls now, as they race after the ball with mostly just enthusiasm and a sense of fun, always brings a smile to my face.
