This bear was below the road that leads to the Petrified Tree (located near the Lost Lake trailhead) in Yellowstone. Many people were trying to get photos of it as it was foraging for grass. However, getting usable photos was difficult as the bear was usually in the shade and behind small branches of fallen trees. At least in this photo, although still in the shade, it's moved away from the branches.
