Four Great Egrets, out standing in their field

Coyote Valley, California

These four egrets, along with ten others were standing in a rain-soaked field while preparing to start hunting for voles or gophers. This and the surrounding fields have attracted Great Egrets for the last couple of months due to the high population of California Voles.
