Sassy was with us for over a year. His family could not keep him with them for numerous
reasons. Though he was well-loved and cared for while he was with us, we all knew he
deserved a more "homey" environment. My only regret is that I didn't take pictures of
him before his health began to deteriorate. In the last week of his life we moved him from
his regular room to a large wire crate where he did not have to climb from one level to
another to get to his food, bedding, or litter box. The next picture was taken by Caitlin,
a week or so before his move to the crate.
I thought I was going to have a chance to take more pictures. I was wrong.
