This is a day trip I shared with a group of close friends to Georges Island. Georges Island is a small island, in a chain of small islands, within the Boston Harbor, Boston, Mass.
It was a beautiful day to be on the ocean. We started from Quincy shipyard and within about a half hour landed at the island. We hiked around a large fort which guarded Boston Harbor way back when. Enjoyed a nice lunch and returned back to Quincy shipyard in the late afternoon. So here are some snapshots of the day. Of course my friends will know who they are, among the strangers that I photographed.
