Grand resort hotel and golf course of an era past
Built in 1865 in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
Became derelict in 1989 but bought and renovated
Reopened in 2002
I heard a PBS radio story about it.
We changed our reservation to the resort (introductory price, of course)
It had been open for one month when we arrived (to questionable service)
