A Serbian Orthodox Christian monastery in a 93% Moslem Country.
Built by the Serbian king Stefan Milutin in 1321.
Interior floor to ceiling decorated with frescos (No photography allowed).
The monastery was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990.
Placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger.
