Jake lived at the Courage Center, Golden Valley, MN for over a year.
It is a resident rehab center for adults with physical handicaps.

Terri and Jake, May 2003		 the hole in his neck is now healed, but in 2000 he had a tear in his esophagus which developed into a fistula, which became infected. For a whole year he was tube fed via a gastrostomy tube because he could not swallow anything - it flowed out the hole in his esophagus.
