August 21, 1943. on Wisconsin Avenue in Oconomowoc. They are just east of the 4 corners, on the south side of the street, they are facing south. Behind them is the hotel, which had Western Union attached to it. Next to that is the old Wilkinson Clinic (in the middle). Those two buildings are gone and that is now the village green. The building on the far right is still standing. It houses a bar.
I can remember selling girl scout cookies in the hotel lobby. :)
