When Jake came home from the hospital after his accident we had no shower or bedroom on the main floor so the dining room became his bedroom. And on Saturday mornings it also became his 'bathroom'. Terri bought a kiddie pool and we would place it in the middle of the room, with the commode chair in the middle of the pool. Then Terri would transfer him from his bed to the chair. She would wash him while I kept the pitchers full. Then while he was trying to get warm in his bed under about 5 blankets, we'd empty the pool. This took up the entire morning.

It wasn't all work though. I got him good with his supersoaker once!!
