Pura Tirta Empul

Bali (Indonesia)

Pura Tirta Empul is a temple source and is about 15km north east of Ubud directly from the royal tombs of Gunung Kawi. The spring water of the Tempelt is considered sacred and is used for ritual ablutions. This fact makes Pura Tirta Empul one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in Bali after Pura Besakih.
