Different View Of Grand Canyon

Judges Comments:

Horizon in centre is generally a no no but in this case I feel it is acceptable – because it is a good sky and gives an idea of scale. I would crop a little off the top and bottom. Lens at its 16.8mm, very slight telephoto setting, was virtually ‘wide open’ at f4. I suspect camera was set on Auto? The G9 is a great camera. I would have used Aperture Priority and selected an f8 or smaller aperture and focused at about 10~15 M.

Canon PowerShot G9
1/1250s f/4.0 at 16.8mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto
