Nice capture, Tony, good placement of subject and sensible cropping. Action and especially nature captures are intensely risky at the best of times. Not hard to see why we and our ancestors were drawn to the spirit of such subject matter. For my own tastes, especially with Photoshop availability, I would have been very tempted to deepen the sky a tad and perhaps give the bird a little more contrast for a bit of extra dramatic 'grunt'. Because 'bird in the sky' shots are fairly readily available to us, a little extra effect sometimes is a good advantage.
