Shooting in the early morning, at sunrise, or near sunset would add more atmosphere and richer colour to the scene.
Good timing and patience are also important, especially when waiting for clouds that can enhance the image further.
Using ND filters for slower shutter speeds or longer exposures could also produce a stronger result.
