It is important to check images carefully for visual artefacts and editing issues. My eye is immediately drawn to distracting areas in the
upper left and right of the background. The tones of the lions and the background are too similar, causing the subjects to blend
in rather than stand out. Some detail has also been lost in the brightest areas due to clipped highlights. Recovering those highlights,
increasing contrast, and darkening the background will increase the tonal separation between background and subject. A 1:1 crop could
further strengthen the composition by placing the cub near the lower intersecting thirds and the mother’s eyes closer to the upper thirds.
