Unfortunately, this image does not meet the monochrome brief as it still contains full colour information, including yellows, greens, and reds from the original subject.
Images must be converted to greyscale, as simple desaturation does not remove colour information from the digital file. Including names or labels in
photo evaluations generally weakens the overall result. The lighting is harsh, creating a flat and lifeless rendering of the subject. This is especially
challenging with a subject like this, which already requires considerable skill to photograph in an aesthetically pleasing and creative way.
