I thought the restricted colour palette, the macro treatment and the drama in the lighting worked well in this image. The water droplets add to the natural feel of
the image and also provide interesting texture. There are also some interesting shapes made by the overlap of the petals and I think that with a small shift
in point of view more could have been made of this. I think that the crop is a bit awkward and that the author could try focus stacking to get more depth in the image.
