An interior architectural image taken to show the majesty and old world charm of the interior of the Hydromajestic. The positioning of the camera has been well thought out with a nice
symmetrical balance on either side of the central corridor and the overhead lights nicely aligned. The post-processing has also ensured that the verticals and horizontals have been corrected.
Unfortunately the image was probably taken in low light (as it is very grainy) and the dynamic range has been beyond the cameras capability with large, blown-out areas
on the table lamps and areas of deep shadow. I also wonder of a colour version of this image would have been better at demonstrating the opulence of the room.
