The author is showing us this country house in the context of the countryside that surround it. The house is placed in the mid ground with a stark
leading line of the white road drawing us towards it. The house is small in the image which is appropriate to give us the context of the country that
surrounds it but the foreground is dominated by the bridge which is large in the frame and there is a competing leading line of the creek or stream
on the right side of the image. To improve the image we need the focus to be more on a single subject, I would crop more tightly to remove the two
competing elements and I would ensure that the building was level and the sharpest area of focus in the image.
