A great sports portrait with a look of focus and determination evident on the face of the subject drawing your attention. The tight crop eliminates a lot of distractions and the subject
is large in the frame and dominates the image. I did think the focus on the face was a little soft but this may be slight motion blur as elements behind and in front of the face are in focus.
For an open competition, I would consider darkening down some of the bright highlights in the background, especially the post behind her shoulder and the light point at the right edge
