Soft colours and forms revealing a face. Is it snow and ice or sandstone plus a texture ? It doesn't really matter.
The majority of the image has a fine texture, so it would be good to see this on the curved rim below the mouth. Look for areas of distraction to simplify the story.
The "tears" on the left hand eye are an added bonus. Look at controlling the brightness and darkness across the image to contain the viewer's eye on the page.
