Beautiful close up of this magnificent avian. A perfect "model" as he gazes into your lens and raises his crest feathers.
The direct eye contact engages the viewer and the background, although not quite what you would expect to see,
is pleasing and does not distract from the subject. Strong diagonal composition with the avian dominant in the frame.
The lighting on the plumage also provides good detail. Competently managed.
