The tight crop has worked well to highlight the details of the bird's plumage and has removed any
distracting elements from the surroundings. The colours of the surrounds complement the bird.
One disadvantage of the tight crop is to unbalance the composition. The grebe could have done with
more space to its right to overcome this.
