These sinuous lichen covered roots are a wonderful subject for photography. So the bulk of the interest in the image to me is on the right.
I can see the attraction of including the road and fence as leading lines however I question whether they are in fact diluting the impact of
the trees. Recomposing by cropping off the left removes the bulk of the less interesting road, maintains the leading line and makes the
pines more dominant in the image. This has the added advantage of removing the bright patches of sky that draw the eye over to the left.
