One technical issue: the head of the heron is not as sharp as the body so either the focal point was not aimed at the eye of the bird (standard operating procedure for bird photography) or the head was on the move in relation to the body and your speed was not able to prevent movement from slightly blurring the head. You have chosen a panoramic format for the image and this complements the shape of the bird well. The image is relatively static so keep trying to get the shot when lunch is found!
