This image is dominated by the flower which I suspect is cultivated and therefore not permitted in a Nature image. Putting that issue aside - if your intention was to silhouette the bees, they needed to be against a less distracting background. If you wanted the bees to be lighter so that we could see details in them you could have considered using flash so that you could illuminate the bees and simultaneously cut down the brightness of the background. The top bee is not quite in focus.
