This is an interesting idea which I feel has an interesting story to tell, especially for fishers. As presented, I feel the dead space on the left
could be reduced and more of the rod included in the photo. The frame along the bottom of the photo doesn't of itself add to the story which
gives the impression of the rod and reel floating in the air. I might suggest shooting the rod /reel as shown but resting
on a surface perhaps with a lure or piece of bait would make for a stronger image.
