The pelican landing on the water with its wings open have filled the frame well with action. ..you can sense the power of the landing on water.
Unfortunately the highlights on the wings, and back and beak of the pelican are blown out. Maybe bracketing your shots may help you decide what
is the best exposure – often it’s a balance between blown highlight in some details in the shadows.
